SONOCHECK ABD06 – This intelligent clamp-on ultrasonic sensor for fixed installation detects air and gas bubbles in synthetic fluid tubes. Also applicable for wet/dry alarm notifications.

The non-invasive detection process allows the sensor to be used for applications that require hygienic and contamination-free conditions such as in the medical and food industry. The sensor is also suitable for industrial applications such as air bubble detection in tubes filled with adhesives or paint.

The sensor is simply clamped onto the tube which enables a quick and uncomplicated changeover. The sensor automatically adapts to dynamically changing acoustic conditions. This guarantees a high degree of measurement stability despite fluctuations in the surrounding environment.

The SONOCHECK ABD06 by Sonotec™ is designed as a component for fixed installation in machines and devices. In addition to our standard sensors, we can provide customer-specific bespoke solutions.

Air bubble detection in industrial applications is very relevant when it comes to process stability and product quality. The SONOCHECK ABD06 air bubble sensor is widely used in filling, pipetting, dosing and mixing systems, painting installations, in the dosing of fats and oils and in adhesive processes.
